About Kristen
From a young age, Kristen was drawn to the enchanting world of literature. She spent hours lost in the pages of her favorite books. Inspired by authors like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien, Kristen dreamed of one day creating her own tales that would whisk readers away on unforgettable adventures.
As she entered her teenage years, Kristen's passion for writing blossomed drawing inspiration from computer games. She began crafting her own stories, weaving together intricate plots and vibrant characters. Kristen poured her imagination into her writing, honing her story crafting skills with each new tale.
Kristen's journey as a writer took a unique turn when she graduated in 2010 with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Missouri Columbia. She dedicated fifteen years of her life working closely with animals. Her journey included an internship at the St. Louis Zoo, where she immersed herself in the fascinating world of wildlife conservation. Additionally, she worked along side veterinarians and veterinary technicians who taught her the true meaning of compassion and kindness. However, her innate love for storytelling sparked a transformative shift in her career trajectory.
Driven by her experiences and fueled by her admiration for the literary giants who had ignited her imagination, Kristen embarked on a new journey as a fantasy author. Drawing from her rich experiences working with animals and her adventures exploring the natural world, Kristen set out to craft enchanting tales that weave together elements of fantasy, romance, and the profound connections between humans and the animal kingdom.
